Secular Jewish Studies - Grades 1-7
The Morris Winchevsky School's arts-based program offers Grade 1-7 students an exploration of Jewish culture, holidays, history, life-cycle events, language and social justice (Tikkun Olam) - all from a secular humanistic perspective.
Learning is enhanced with special themes that are interwoven throughout the curriculum. 2012-2013 themes include:
- The Arts: "From Chagall to Chicago"
- Social Justice: "Labour Movements, Law-Breakers and Love"
- History: "Sephardim and Secularism"
- Identity: "Global Jewries"
